An upcoming Antarctic workshop may be of interest to Polar scholars and practitioners. The first INQUA-MARE workshop “Antarctic Realm” is running from November 29th to December 1st, 2021. You can find more information here on how to participate. Key points to note in advance are that you must:
- register your participation to the workshop, as an auditor. To register you need to fill a Google form or write an email to inqua.mare.network@gmail.com from October 20th to November 25th, indicating your Title (student, MSc, PhD, Prof., pronoun-s, etc.), Name, Surname, Affiliation and Nationality;
If you hope to present, you need to submit your abstract by writing an email to inqua.mare@gmail.com from November 1st to November 25th (extended deadline). Detailed instructions on oral presentations and posters are given in the abstract and posters template.

Key Point of Note: The “Antarctic Realm” workshop is the first of 4 events: Antarctic 2021; Arctic 2022; Tropical Zones 2023; and Interaction between the Polar and Tropical areas 2024. The idea behind the INQUA-MARE workshops is to foster open spaces for dialogue about our studies around the globe. Please do not hesitate to participate in all the meetings.
